Trauma round is the most valuable experience for medical students to learn trauma cases in orthopeadics
It comes to my turn.
After the case presentation of fracture of the fifth toe by Cherry,
Professor Leung told the medical officer," Put on the bloody splint!"
I was a little bit shocked when i heard the word 'bloody' came out from the honorable, old-fashioned Professor.
He then turned to me," Do you know what is the bloody splint?"
I was speechless.
"Do you have icq? "
Things became more complicated. What is the relationship between icq (which we had abandoned years ago) and the BLOODY splint!
He continued, " Do you have 'bloody' list in your icq?"
"So do you know what is the BLOODY splint?"
I was stupid enough to ask," Do you mean B-U-D-D-Y or B-L-O-O-D-Y?"
yes, i actually spelt the words in the question...
so this is the BUDDY splint that i learned...deeply in my heart

This is the splint which hold the normal and injured fingers/toes together
yes, the injuried finger and the normal finger are BUDDY, though they could possibly be BLOODY
